🔥 2026 Fold Phone Launch List

 

1. Apple Foldable iPhone (“iPhone Fold”)

Apple is widely expected to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. 

Production is rumored to start in late 2025. 

Design: Book-style fold, with a 7–8″ inner display and a smaller outer screen (~5.5″ reported). 

Possible specs: Titanium frame, side-mounted Touch ID (instead of Face ID) to save space.

Pricing rumors are high-end (some say $2,000–$2,500 range).

There’s some risk: a note from Mizuho Securities suggests it could be delayed into 2027. 

2. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold “Wide” (2026)

Samsung reportedly plans two Z Fold models in 2026: the “standard” Fold 8 and a wide-fold variant.

The wide-fold is said to have two 18:9 panels that open into a more square (18:18) screen.

This model is positioned to compete more directly with Apple’s rumored foldable.

3. Samsung Tri-Fold (Triple-Screen) Phone

According to display analyst Ross Young, Samsung is developing a tri-fold (triple-screen) phone for early 2026.

The fully unfolded main display could measure 9–10 inches. 
When folded, it may have a more rectangular “stacked” shape.

4. Xiaomi Tri-Fold (2026)

Xiaomi is reportedly working on a tri-fold smartphone for 2026.

The device has been spotted in IMEI databases (model “26013VP46C”).

It seems to be a different design than their first tri-fold, suggesting Xiaomi is doubling down on foldables.
